Home Sharing is a unique and individualised service providing respite and support with a Host Family in your community. Operating across Counties Longford, Westmeath, Laois and Offaly, we can provide alternatives to traditional residential care, centre based respite and community support. Home Sharing aims to support people to:
- Make friends and new relationships,
- Make connections or access supports in their community,
- Promote choice and self-direction.
Share A Break
A Share A Break placement can be afternoons, days, overnights, weekends or holidays. It is based on what the person wants and what the Host Family can provide. There is great flexibility in how and when support is provided as we recognise that people’s needs and wishes change all the time.
Shared Living
A Shared Living placement provides full time accommodation for adults with a Host Family in their community.
