Siobhán Bryan
Siobhán has over 20 years’ experience working in the Disability sector with the earlier part of her career working within autism specific services. Siobhán was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Muiríosa Foundation in February 2019. Siobhán initially trained in social care, working in frontline services before taking on a number of leadership roles, including Team Leader, HIQA Co-ordinator, Director of Services, and interim CEO of Gheel Autism Services. During this time, Siobhán undertook a degree in Quality Management. Siobhán is passionate about ensuring all citizens of the state with a disability are supported to have a good life. Siobhán’s vision is to support people to live ordinary lives in ordinary places! Siobhán joined the Board of Inclusion Ireland as a Director in November 2020 and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to support this remarkable organisation to advocate on behalf of citizens with a disability across Ireland
Olive Leonard
Having worked seventeen years in an Electronics Company, initially in the IT department and later as Manager of the Human Resources Department, Olive Leonard moved to the Muiríosa Foundation as Human Resources Manager in 2002. A graduate of the University of Limerick, Olive is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a Master of Business in Human Resource Management With a particular interest in Information Technology solutions for Human Resources, she is constantly seeking enhanced efficiency, accuracy and reporting through systems improvements. Olive has chaired the Human Resources forum of the National Federation of Voluntary Service Providers since 2014, and represents employers in the sector on a number of National Committees working with the HSE, Department of Health and Trade Unions Representatives. It is with great pleasure to her, that Olive has been part of the progression over the past twenty years to the person-centred approach which is now inherent in the culture of the organisation among staff. |

Stephen O’Rourke
Stephen as Director of the ICT Department is responsible for the ever-increasing important role of IT in modern Social Care. Stephen has over 30 years’ experience in IT, starting in the highly competitive world of Multinational Business. Stephen joined us in 2000 and has developed the IT Department from humble beginnings, to a lean, agile, hybrid, modern support service. His view is that technology is there to facilitate management and staff, in providing the best possible life for the people we work with and work for. |
Mairead Sheedy
Since Mairead qualified as a R.N.I.D., she has spent over 30 years in the Social Care Sector working across a number of areas including Residential Services, Day Services, Early Intervention, Pre-schools and Respite/Family Support Services. Joining the Muiríosa Foundation in 2002, Mairead brought her experience to the Day Service Co-ordinator role in the Laois and Offaly Region. Before being appointed to the Area Director role in 2013, Mairead provided leadership to implement change in Day Services well in advance of New Directions. Since being appointed Regional Director in 2016, services have been developed which include provision of Individualised Supports, expansion of Day Services and Respite Services in Offaly and Residential Services in Laois, Offaly and Tipperary. Mairead is motivated by and advocates to ensure that opportunities and person centred supports are provided to people to live their best life. |
Amanda Murphy
Amanda Murphy is an R.N.I.D, with a Certificate in Management, Diploma in Gerontology Nursing and Post Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies. Amanda has over 25 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or Autism. She has supported numerous individuals with de-congregation to move to homes of their own in communities of their choosing. Throughout her career Amanda has made it her primary focus to find creative and person centred ways to improve opportunities for the individuals she supports.
Eoin Mooney
Eoin Mooney has over 25 years in the disability sector with a background in quality, person centred-planning and management. Eoin commenced in Muiriosa as Regional Director of our Longford, Westmeath, Meath Region in December 2020. Prior to commencing in Muiriosa, Eoin served as CEO in Dara Community Living and Possibilities plus for over 2 years, prior to that he spent 20 years with Saint John of God Community Services as Regional Day Services Manager and Quality Coordinator. |
